LIBRARY INFORMATION SERVICES CIIT ATTOCK
INTRODUCTION
 The library supports the academic programs of CIIT through collections, technology and services, which enable students and faculty to access recorded knowledge and information resources. This support empowers our constituencies to develop the information and technological competencies necessary to achieve their educational, research and professional goals. This enables them to succeed in the workplace, apply lifelong learning skills, and participate in a diverse society. The Library holdings are mainly to support teaching and research on the campus. CIIT Attock Campus Library is airy, well lighted and provides ideal conditions for quiet study.
The total collection is around 3600 books. The Library is fully computerized and students and faculty search the required books through (OPAC) Online Public Access Catalog. Library has the following Sections:
REFERENCE
Reference book section contains latest reference books on the subjects of Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Electronics Engineering etc. This section contains around 1300 books.
TEXT BOOK SECTION
 This Section contains the text books of different programs offered at CIIT, Attock. Total collection is about 2000 which are meant for issuance to students for a relatively longer period to facilitate their reading.
GENERAL BOOK SECTION
This section, comprising 300 books, covers topics on Islam, History, Philosophy, Urdu, and English Literature for leisure reading
SERIAL SECTION
Serial Section contains a number of latest Journals and Magazines on different subjects which aims mainly at supporting the research activities of the faculty as well as of Students.
DIGITAL LIBRARY /AUDIO VISUALS
 Audio Visuals / Digital Library Section has also been established in the Library where students have an opportunity to access Online Journals and Lecture CDs in a noise-free and peaceful atmosphere.
