Programe Objectives:
- Impart quality education of Mathematics at minimum cost.
- To develop a conducive environment for research, both in pure and applied mathematics.
- To produce professionals with mathematical back ground.
- M. Sc program will serve as a nursery for MS and Ph.D Mathematics programs.
Associated Careers:
Having accomplished a masters degree program in Mathematics one can have various career options both in the public and private sectors viz. in business, research, industry, Aviation, space technology, banking, weather forecasting and teaching.
Study duration:
It is a 2 years without thesis course work program.
Eligibility:
- B.Sc with Mathematics (A & B) with Physics or Mathematics (A & B) with Statistics or General Mathematics with Physics and Statistics or General Mathematics with Geography/Economics from an accredited educational institution without any third division or D grade in academic career for admission in to M.Sc program.
- NTS as per CIIT policy.
